Welcome to Achēv Newcomer Information Centre Online (NIC Online)! We are here to support newcomers to Ontario who are Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees with employment, settlement orientation and information, and referrals. It’s all online and free!
Eligibility Criteria
You can access our services if you are:
- A resident of Ontario
- 16 years or older of age
- A Permanent Resident or Convention Refugee
We offer exclusive hand-picked information and resources to NIC Online clients. After an Employment Consultant has validated your registration, you will have unlimited access to job search resources.
Here is a glimpse of how NIC Online will support you:
- A Virtual Employment and Information Specialist will assist you with your job search and settlement inquiries via phone, email or Skype.
- Equip you with free online tools to support you through your job search.
- One-on-one detailed feedback on your resume ensuring it meets Canadian and industry standards.
- A virtual consultation to go through the resume and assess your job search strategies, provide you with more information and resources for your job search or refer you to other relevant programs/services.
- Gain access to our Virtual Resource Centre and ongoing live webinars on various employment and settlement topics.
To begin your registration, you need your PR Card/Landing Document or Notice of Decision Letter (For Convention Refugees).
